6' Penn Ally II Deep Drop Rod

The PENN® Ally II ALLYBWII80250C60DD Deep Drop Boat Rod has the power and durability you need for offshore saltwater fishing. The rod is crafted from an incredibly tough, tubular E-glass rod blank, able to withstand the strain of big, hard fighting fish. The blank is outfitted combination of Seaguide® Stainless Steel guides with zirconium inserts, and a PacBay® machined aluminum roller tip. The Roller Tip maintains a large knot clearance and the rod guides are placed in key, high-stress areas, to extend the life of your line by reducing friction.

The Ally II comes with an all aluminum PACBAY® Bent Butt. The PacBay® aluminum butts are machined from marine grade anodized aluminum, with locking nuts that are reverse knurled to prevent scratching rods when transporting or storing. It's integrated reel seat will keep your reel firmly secured during battle, and the gimbal on the tail end will ensure your rod stays planted during prolonged battles. The non-slip EVA grip was built to withstand long days under the sun and saltwater spray, while still providing a secure grip.
